Heritage Farm showcases Appalachia’s unique storytelling reputation with a variety of experiences at the latest themed Way Back Weekend, “Stories of Appalachia” presented by Chapman Printing Co. and the West Virginia Humanities Council on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 from 10am-3pm.
Meet famous storytellers Bil Lepp and Darci Tucker, as they share award-winning talents throughout the day, accompanied by a special Hatfield McCoy vignette. An exclusive book arts demonstration by 8 artisans collaborating over the past two years, across four states will personally guide guests through a special pre-mass production era presentation of the written word. Historically significant character actors, wagon rides, and unique attractions will round out a truly authentic cultural experience.
