The Transportation Building. A revolution in transportation took place all across America at the turn of the century with the advent of motorized transportation.

The Transportation Building shows the progression of this revolution.  From covered wagons to carriages, early autos and an electric truck (pictured at bottom of this page), you'll find it here.
On the right is a 1910 Sears High Wheeler and on the left is a 1915 Model T Ford. This is the car that forever changed the world by placing freedom of movement at a reasonable price squarely in the hands of most working people.

On the left is a 1908 Electric Truck  which utilized 42 batteries and was used to distribute magazines in Philadelphia.
