The
Church.
In addition to the family, each community
was based around four basic institutions; the store,
the school, the town hall and, most importantly,
the church.
|
|
The
church building at the Heritage Farm Museum and Village
is the focal point of the community.
|
|
It
was not unusual for an entire community to worship at
the same church, thus making the church equally important
as the home and school in shaping the hearts, minds,
and souls of every member of the community.
|
|
|
The
Church can seat up to 80 and is perfect for hosting
your church meetings, weddings, renewing your vows,
reunions, sings, etc.
