School
Tours help students be proud of their Appalachian
Heritage with an inspirational field trip to the award-winning Heritage
Farm. Students can experience life as it was “back then”
and learn about the major inventions that changed everything to
create the quality of life we take for granted today. This unique
experience for students includes guided lessons in the authentic
19th century One Room Schoolhouse,
Progress of Appalachia Museum,
American Transportation Museum
and either the walk-through Coal Mine Exhibit or the Hands-On Activity
Center. To view the
brochure, click here.
