Celebrating…Appalachia! | August 5 - August 26

One of the oldest named regions of the United States, Appalachia is known for its hills, its people, its culture, and much more. Experience the infamous Hatfields and McCoys feud, listen to some mighty fine old-time music, and sit a spell on our front porch! 

Schedule:

August 5          Hatfields and McCoys Weekend

August 12        Storytelling and musical performance by the Thundertones

August 19        Southern Ohio Wolf Sanctuary

Every Saturday you can expect:

-4 museums (Progress, Transportation, Country Store, and either the Doll or Industry Museum)
-Blacksmith Shop
-2 artisans in our Artisan Center (e.g. a printer, weaver, potter, tinsmith, woodworker, broommaker, and much more!)
-Children's activities, including the Hands-On Activity Center, the Petting Zoo, MakerSpace, and the Six Simple Machines Discovery Zone
-Wagon Rides
-"Our Daily Bread" Cafe will be open and serving food in the village
-Special featured activities and programming every weekend!
